"The only way to prevent world war 3 is to prevent it."
Dwight D. Eisenhower
The phrase; World War 3, holds so many connotations. We can picture soldiers, guns, bloodshed, death and devastation. A phrase that describes a catastrophe that will ultimately lead to the destruction of the world as we know it.
However even though almost everyone can picture "World War 3" so vividly, many of us don't have any knowledge of what it truly will look like. Perhaps there won't be soldiers on grassy, muddy battlefields? Maybe we won't even realise that a world war has even began?
With so many questions and hypotheses, it was difficult for me to find a platform that would allow me to deconstruct and share them with others that might be interested.I'm hopeful that my blog, A World At War, may contribute with that. My initial plans for this site are that it will contain theories, ideas, and news stories. It will act as a resource page, including information I have gathered surrounding this issue.

A little bit about me...
Throughout high school, I found myself drawn toward social topics, such as modern studies and rmps. I loved learning about our modern world and found the realm of politics to be very interesting. Living and growing up in a modern and first-world country makes it difficult for me to put myself in the shoes of those who are less fortunate; however, I believe that because I come from such a privileged background, it is my responsibility to learn more or instead be able to do something for those unable to...

I think this image captures what I mean when I say it's hard to see a country in ruins, especially your own.
Uğur Gallenkuş is a Turkish visual artist whose vivid digital picture creations have been posted to social media as a harsh warning of the world's injustice. His compositions merge stock images of daily life from the Western world with the disturbing reality of other locations where people struggle to survive.
I believe that this blog may serve as an archive for all of the material that I have discovered, and I hope that me, and you will be able to learn a bit more about politics and world events as a result of it.
